I grew up in a small sawmill town in Northeastern California. My family worked in the timber industry.

 

I attended Forestry school at Humboldt State University. When I was 23, I was hired by a large private timber company and worked there for 27 years. For 22 of those years I was the District Forester in charge of all timber related activities on 150,000 acres of timberland.

In 2000 I started my own real estate business specializing in selling timberland, ranches and recreational property. My vast experience in forestry and public land surveying helped me in having a very successful business.

I had dreamed of owning a ranch property that I could manage for wildlife. In July of 2010, my wife and I purchased a ranch just north of Elgin, Oregon. My wife plans on spending her retirement enjoying our property and riding horses.

 

I am very excited about my new career with The Whitney Land Company, a 40 year old land company based in Pendleton, Oregon. I look forward to helping buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals.
